WINGS: A Journey in Faith from the Earthly to the Heavenly:
INTRODUCTION: I’m sitting in my recliner at 5 a.m. with a cup of coffee and my pj’s still on. I look over at my dozing roommate in the other chair and say, “Did you know there are as many nerves in your intestines as in your brain and they work the same way?” Eyes half-opened, she peers over the top of her raised coffee cup. Those eyes are saying, “It’s 5 a.m. and too early for this!” She gets up and starts backing down the hallway as I continue to expound on the spiritual aspect of my latest exciting discovery. She’s almost disappeared from sight when she politely offers, “You need to share this stuff with a bigger audience than just me.” That was the start of my preach letters. WINGS: A Journey in Faith from the Earthly to the Heavenly is a compilation of those letters—thoughts, musing, insights, revelations and guidance gathered from my experiences living as a Christian in Las Vegas.
